UNIFORM

Please ensure that your child has the correct uniform for their class.

Ballet uniforms can be bought in any dance shop. Dance Emporium in Swords and Dance World on Parnell Street are both wonderful shops.

Correct ballet attire must be worn to all classes. It is imperative that a ballet teacher can see the exact positioning of the students' bodies in order to give appropriate feedback and guidance. This encourages the properdevelopment of classical technique and decreases the risk of injury. Establishing and maintaining correct posture and alignment are integral to ballet training.

Wearing hair in a classical bun is a requirement for all students in Grade 1 and above as it allows for the free movement of the neck and head. Students in Pre-Primary and Primary should have their hair tied back in a ponytail or bun.
